  4. If I Get Info on the Finder after installing the Patch, 
  5. I still can't adjust the memory. What's wrong?

  8. The Finder Get Info box can't and won't show a memory 
  9. field to adjust it's memory. Even though the Finder is an
  10. application it is different from others. The memory increase as 
  11. advertised in the ReadMe file of FinderPatch v1.3.2 can only be
  12. set before applying the patch.
  13. To do this, deselect the check box "Full Patch", and now the
  14. custom install check boxes are available.  The pop-up menu 
  15. allows you to be able to make one of two choices, Generous or
  16. Moderate.

  18. The "Moderate" setting will be enough memory for the Finder
  19. in most cases, however if you are working with tasks which take 
  20. heavy advantage of the Finder, you may want to set this 
  21. pop-up menu to "Generous". Both settings increase the 
  22. Finders memory allocation compared to the standard settings.
